Breastfeeding is best not only for babies and mothers, but also for families and society in general. It can be part of a couple’s ongoing call to practice Responsible Parenthood, the virtuous decision to plan or to postpone conception.

CCL has always promoted breastfeeding, and continues to advocate exclusive and continued breastfeeding as the desired norm. Because of its impact on fertility, breastfeeding is a natural part of CCL’s Natural Family Planning education.
